European Water, Lake and River System Development Association
The European water, lake and river system development association was founded in Helsinki, Finland in 2002.
It's main aim is to act as the initiator and leader of projects for the development of water areas in Europe. Financing of development projects will be obtained from various EU sources, government of Finland, funds and private companies.

The seminar is going to be at Szentendre in Hungary, at the Regional Environmental Center Headquaters . The organizer of the seminar is EVAK Ry Helsinki.
The main idea for the seminar is that we give possibility to meet different organizations and companies in environmental fields from different countries in Europe, get new contacts and co-operations based on this seminar. Financing questions and finding applications for funds will be helped by REC HQ and coordinating the co-operations will be directed by EVAK Ry later on in the frame of our Innovative Training Union.
There are going to be two separate seminar groups (TO-Training Organizations and DC-Development Companies). The groups will have separate programme but there will be time and chance to meet others from the other seminar group.
Goals: · Institutions and companies should discover their possible collaborators on the first workshop and find the way for co-operation with them on different fields. · At the end of the seminar day 1, we would like to hear your suggestions what kind of co-operations you can start with your new partners in future. · In the beginning of day 2, we will hear suggestions from REC HQ about financing possibilities for the new partnerships. · At the end of seminar day 2 we would like to see the written co-operation agreement between partner institutions, companies, REC HQ and EVAK for future co-operations.

***PIKE-project***
The project PIKE Development of Small Enterprises of the Baltic Sea Coast and Central-Europe started with City of Raasepori and Leader Pomovast.
Right now we are collecting different experiences about secondary occupations for fishermen, like pike-perch farming, tourism and utilizing fish waste for biogas or biodiesel production.
